Would it be okay to wear a nice shirt, black capris, and black flip flops to a kmart interview?

I have an interview at kmart today, and i’m wearing a semi-dressy shirt, black capris, and black flip-flops. It all coordinates nicely? Do you think my flip-flops will stick out, and seem unprofessional?

Yes, Flip Flops are always unprofessional. Not for an interview. Save them for later.
The rest sounds fine.

Definitely not flip-flops at any interview (except maybe for a beach-bum)

NO… it is not appropriate to wear flip plops or Capri’s to an interview!

The flip flops are a definate no, and even the capris are questionable, but if they’re paired with a semi dressy shirt, they could be okay…………depends on how form fitting they are (or not, which is better, lol).

Outfit sounds great except for the flip flops. Find some other type of shoe that matches that is a little more professional and not so relaxed. and good luck!

No flip flops and no capris. I know it probably looks nice, but I have to tell you, it could hurt you. Flops are a definite NO. Capris are questionable because they may seem too casual to some people. It comes down to the person interviewing you and if they think you are not serious, they will not consider you. Once you are hired you can ask about the capris, but I guarantee flip flops won’t be allowed. I would be shocked if they were-many places do not allow them or open toes for health and safety reasons.
Good luck!

You should wear a skirt, or a nice pair of slacks, instead of capris. Yeah flip flops are very unprofessional to wear to any job interview. Why don’t you wear some dressy flats and just change your shoes when the interview is over.
