How Do The Noisebuster Headphones Work?

September 7th, 2008 | by admin |

There is a microphone fitted both, on the inside as well as outside the ear cups of the Noisebuster headphones. The microphone on the outside is meant to capture the outside noises entering into the ear.

The headphones have a built in electronic system that analyses the sounds received by the external microphone. The system then creates an opposite noise wave to the one entering the ear from the outside. The anti noise wave is actually generated as an output by the speaker located inside the earcup. The waves generated when meet the outside waves; they end up creating a significant reduction of the noise.
