What Kind of Skin Is Best?

When they’re made of leather what kind of skin is the best for looks and for practicality? I understand that Balenciaga bagsare made from goat skin, mostly. That should be some rugged leather and it should last a long time, huh? That and so beautiful to boot make for a decent price, in my humble opinion. After all don’t you want the bag to last a very long time …..or does it really matter?
